KFC Finger Lickin’ Open Endorsement
Scroll ↓
Instead of paying for a big endorsement deal, we hacked our way onto the court by incentivising a gesture we created in 1952. An endorsement deal open to anyone. Just shoot a bucket, do the finger lickin’ good celly, and share it to get paid in KFC.
And…..it blew up!
This was my first big campaign as a producer and it won a Lion!!! The most fun part was witnessing Colonel courtside with Lethal Shooter at the Rogers Center and the traction it picked! I was involved in the creation of this campaign through and through. There is a moment in the video where the editor truly showed their skills with one of the dialogues (can you spot it?), the colour played a huge role in bringing this piece to life, and of course - no campaign is complete without amazing sound design.
We captured tonnes of content for the case video as well, whatever we could not show in the actual campaign, we showed in the case, it’s amazing how it became such a thing! The Raptor came out wearing Colonel’s suit!! - we did NOT plan that, FYI!!
